Record of a Modern Heart (Paperback)

Record of a Modern Heart is a selection of poems written during my travels, when I discovered that I traveled to write. The book deals with my earlier concerns of literature and the great sense of responsibility I feel towards the arts; how people, places and cultures I have encountered in my travels have played a role, influenced and even shaped the personality, choices and preferences as an artist; and how they have enriched me with knowledge and new fresh experiences and wider visions of the world. The selected poems may also be viewed as a metaphorical search and psychological journey into the self, an attempt to connect and harmonize the inner and outer worlds that at times may feel in conflict and contrast with one another and may make life appear much more complex than it really is.
