Sci-fi drama involving three couples and the problems they face when a biological attack is imminent. When a biological weapon is deployed in the Middle East, panic and terror sweep across Europe and North America as the threat travels ever closer. The film follows the couples' various difficulties with each other before the attack and their subsequent stuggle to survive in the face of looming terror.
