The Indian Doctor: Series 1 (DVD)

All five episodes from the first series of the BBC comedy drama starring Sanjeev Bhaskar as an Indian doctor who ends up in a sleepy Welsh mining village in the 1960s. Dr Prem Sharma (Bhaskar) arrives from India eager to meet his new patients and settle into the community. However, his aristocratic wife Kamini (Ayesha Dharker) finds it less easy to adapt, and the locals are unsure what to make of the new residents. The episodes are: 'The Arrival', 'The Diary', 'Young Hearts', 'The Van' and 'The Fete'.
