I received this as a gift for my birthday. I love Scrabble and always remember playing with my grandparents set. This one was just like it. The board and pieces all hark back to my childhood. I see it is quite expensive but i have since bought one for my brother and the tin is a great touch as boxes always seem to fall apart these days. unlike the other reviewer i highly recommend it

I love scrabble and I love wood. Ordered this for myself as a christmas present but I was very disappointed in the quality and feel of the set. The wooden blocks feel light and flimsy, almost card board like. The wooden blocks are very thin, not the same thickness as 'retro' wooden blocks or current scrabble blocks. Not worth the price!
