Gloria (1999) (DVD)

A Sidney Lumet-directed story about a woman who is looking to renew her lease on life.

After finally completing her prison sentence, Gloria is back on the streets of New York. Somehow she becomes responsible for Nicky, a little boy who is the only survivor of a mob attack on his family, and together the twosome try to untangle a complicated mafia crime web.

Gloria is a remake of the 1980 John Cassavetes film of the same title.
