Words will never be able to describe the experience of originally playing....no, experiencing this game back in 2001 on my Sega Dreamcast. Yes there are some aspects which may seem dated to many "gamers" of today but that should not deter you from experiencing this game. I absolutely loved it then and still do to this day with it being my favorite game of all time.
No other game has to this day captured me with its world, characters and story as this has. No other game to this day has this kind of level of realism in its world and its inhabitants, yes some may argue that games like The Witcher and Final Fantasy or GTA have massive open worlds but those worlds are empty and dead, those worlds do not have people that follow real life routines as real people would do, such as dock workers going on lunch at their specified lunch times and following them to see them purchase lunch from the food stall and then take that lunch either to the lunch room or to a spot and sit down to eat that lunch. This is what makes the difference between a lived in world and just a generic open world.
