MISSIONS OF ASIA. THE PERSECUTION IN THE FAR EAST. The Franco-Chinese war has had the most terrible consequences for the Missioners and neophytes in the far East. A Letter from Mgr. Cordier, Vicar-Apostolic of Cambodia, gives us the first details of the martyrdom of Father Guyomard, a young Missioner, who hardly two years ago set out for this distant Mission. Another Letter from Mgr. Fenouil, Vicar-Apostolic of Yun-nan, recounts the touching and heroic death of twenty-nine of the Christians. IND(_)-CHINA. E.z'tract of a Letter from Mgr.
