Indications: Hormone Balance Natural HRT helps relieve menopausal and premenstrual symptoms.
Pharmacological Action: Hormone Balance Natural HRT is a combination complementary medicine formulated to help relieve menopausal and premenstrual symptoms. Vitex agnus castus (chasteberry extract) helps relieve premenstrual symptoms, herbally used as a hormone normaliser to help stabilise menstrual cycle irregularities and helps relieve symptoms associated with menopause, such as hot flushes. Actaea racemosa (Black cohosh extract) helps relieve the pain associated with menstruation, premenstrual symptoms and symptoms associated with menopause. Ipriflavone in formulations containing vitamin D like the Hormone Balance Natural HRT seems to help prevent osteoporosis in postmenopausal women.
Women over the age of 18 years: Take 2 capsules daily.
For menopausal symptoms use continuously.
For PMS (premenstrual syndrome) use for 7 – 10 days, starting about 5 days before the end of the menstrual cycle.
Use for a minimum of 3 months to see beneficial effects.
This product contains sucrose. Patients with rare hereditary conditions such as fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrose-isomaltase insufficiency should not take Hormone Balance Natural HRT. Sucrose may also have an effect on the glycaemic control of patients with diabetes mellitus. Use with caution in patients on progesterone preparations, oral contraceptives or hormone replacement therapy. Use with caution during lactation. Use with caution in patients with liver disorders or those developing symptoms of liver trouble.
Each capsule contains the following active ingredients: 5mg Chasteberry extract; 40mg Black cohosh extract; 300mg Ipriflavone extract; 200IU Vitamin D3
Inactive ingredients: Magnesium silicate, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide.
Sugar-free.
Suitable for vegetarians.

Contra-Indications	Not to be taken by pregnant and breastfeeding woman. Antipsychotic medicines: It is possible that agnus castus may interfere with the action of dopamine antagonists due to its dopinergic effects. Some of the antipsychotic drugs include: chlorpromazine, clozapine, fluphenazine, haloperidol, olanzapine, perphenazine, prochlorperazine, quetiapine, risperidone, thioridazinel and thiothixene. Contraceptive medicines: Could interfere in the effectiveness of contraceptive drugs due to its hormone modulating activity, use with caution. Estrogens: Could interfere in the effectiveness of hormone replacement therapy as Hormone Balance Natural HRT has its own hormone modulating activity. Cisplatin: Preliminary evidence suggests the black cohash might decrease the effectiveness of cisplatin. Cytochrome P450: Hormone Balance Natural HRT may modestly inhibit P450 2D6, 2C9 and 1A2. Medicines metabolised by P450 2D6, 2C9 and 1A2 include amitriptyline, codeine, desipramine, flecainide, haloperidol, imipramine, metoprolol, ondansetron, paroxetine, risperidone, tramadol, venlafaxine, clozapine, cyclobenzaprine, fluvoxamine, haloperidol, imipramine, mexiletine, olanzapine, pentazocine, propranolol, tacrine, theophylline, zileuton, zolmitriptan, amitriptyline, diazepam, estradiol, tacrine, verapamil, warfarin, zileuton and others. Hepatotoxic medicines: There is concern that black cohosh might be linked to cases of liver failure and autoimmune hepatitis. Taking black cohosh with hepatotoxic medicines may increase the risk of liver damage. Immunosuppressants: Concurrent use of ipraplavone and immunosuppressant medicines may have additive effects on inhibiting the immune system. Theophylline: Concurrent use of ipriflavone and theophylline can increase serum theophylline levels.

Use Instructions	Adult woman: Take 2 capsules daily, after a meal, or as recommended by your healthcare provider. For menopausal symptoms use continuously. For PMS (pre-menstrual syndrome) use for 7-10 days, starting about 5 days before end of menstrual cycle. For bone mineral density protection, use with SOLALs Calcium Gluconate. For added menopausal and PMS symptom relief Hormone Balance Natural HRT can be combined with Sol-Oil Omega 3 & 6 and Magnesium Gluconate.
