Indications: Contributes to the normal production of the thyroid hormones and normal thyroid function.
Pharmacological Action: Tyrosine is a precursor for thyroid hormones such as thyroxine, and therefore may be used as a supplement in those with hypothyroidism. Iodine is essential for normal thyroid function. It is a constituent of the thyroid hormones thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3), which are produced by the thyroid gland. Guggulipid extract is a resin produced by mukul myrrh tree and may stimulate thyroid function.
Adults 18 years and older: Take 3 capsules in the morning 30 minutes before breakfast.
Individuals following a low protein diet should consult their healthcare practitioner prior to use.
Each capsule contains the following active ingredients: 267mg L-tyrosine; 250mg Gugulipid extract; 33μg Iodine
Inactive ingredients: Hypromellose, magnesium stearate, magnesium silicate
Allergens: Iodine
Sugar-free.
Suitable for vegetarians.

People suffering from the following conditions: Glioblastoma multiforme tumors, melanomas and schizophrenia. Levodopa: Tyrosine may decrease the effectiveness of L-dopa. Thyroid Hormone: Thyroid Support Formula will have an additive effect to thyroid hormone. Thyroid Support Formula should be used with caution with the following medications: anticoagulants, contraceptives, cytochrome P450 3A4 substrates, diltiazem, estrogens, propanolol, levodopa, ACE inhibitors, amiodarone, angiotensin receptor blockers, lithium, potassium-sparing diuretics, monoamine oxidase inhibitors and tamoxifen.
