Derek Stiles is the main character and a surgeon at Hope Hospital and later, Caduceus. He is just beginning to realize his potential. Derek did not do his job seriously until Angie came along. Derek is a "descendant" of the Greek god of medicine, Asclepius, and is gifted with extreme concentration, an ability referred to as the "Healing Touch." In the first two games of the series, Derek fights against the deadly G.U.I.L.T. strain of viruses.
