The Necessity os a National Reformation. A Sermon occasioned by the present critical State of the Nation, preached at the Parijh'Church of Leeds, July nth, 1779. By Miles Atkinson, A. B. Svo. 6d. Wallis. The design of this discourse is to (hew, ' that public enemies and calamities are the scourges of God, which he makes use of to chastise nations for their fins; and that the only way to escape, when dangers threaten, or to have calamities removed, when they are brought upon a land, is for the people to humble themselves before God, and implore his mercy and deliverance.'
