The Cuckoo's Calling
Cormoran Strike, an injured war veteran turned PI, seeks the truth surrounding the mysterious death of supermodel Lula Landry alongside temp secretary, Robin Ellacott. The police assume the supermodel committed suicide but her brother suspects foul play and hires Strike to make his own judgment. As he delves deeper into the mystery and tries to gain an insight into the victim's life and the murky circumstances surrounding her death.

The Silkworm
Struggling private detective Cormoran Strike is hired by Leonora Quine o find her missing husband, the controversial writer Owen Quine. Using his skills as a former Royal Military Special Investigation Branch investigator, Strike discovers Owen's brutally dismembered body and traces clues from the manuscript of his latest novel 'Bombyx Mori'. The police determine Leonora to be the killer but Strike is convinced they have the wrong suspect and begins investigating Owen's other acquaintances, as detailed in his last work, and finds himself scouring the world of London's literary establishment in search of the real killer.

Career Of Evil
After receiving a package containing a severed leg at his office, private detective Cormoran Strike uses his skills as a former Royal Military Special Investigation Branch and delves into his past to find the perpetrator. Suspecting someone from a past case may harbour a vendetta against him, Strike draws up a list of suspects with help from his secretary Robin Ellacott. But when he begins his investigation and tracks down his first lead, Strike is arrested after being framed for murder. Can he prove his innocence and find the real culprit?
