Excerpt: ...the construction, maintenance, and operation of, irrigation projects by the government of the Moro Province, for the repayment of money expended therein, for the construction of irrigation projects by private persons; and providing penalties for its violation, and for other purposes," effective January first, nineteen hundred and twelve; and Whereas there is now before the Philippine Legislature a general irrigation law, which, if passed, it may be desirable to extend to the Moro Province, and other provinces inhabited by non-Christians: Now, therefore, be it Resolved, That the legislative council of the Moro Province is hereby directed to postpone until March first, nineteen hundred and twelve, the taking effect of Act Numbered Two hundred and seventy-three, pending action of the commission on the advisability of the approval of said act, and that the secretary notify the Legislative Council accordingly.
