"alizarin yellow E," "alizarin yellow G G," "mordant yellow O," "alizarin yellow E W (powder)," and to "alizarin yellow G G W (powder)," which are described under the numbers 199, 22, and 21, respectively, in Dr. Adolf Lehne's standard work on Artificial Organic Coloring Matters; also to the "alizarin yellow" or "anthracenegelb," "alizaringelbE," "alizarin yellow G G," and "alizaringelb G G W," under the numbers 383, 384, 34, 33, and 27, in Schnltz & Julius' work on Organic Colouring Matters, edition of 1897; and the "alizarin yellow O, powder," corresponds also the "beizengelb O" of Meister, Lucius & Brunning. They therefore belong either to the azo, oxyketon series or related dyestuffs, as contradistinguished from the alizarin or anthracin series of dyes or colors, and are of the same general character as the so-called alizarin yellows included in G. A. 4322, and in the decision of the United States circuit court for the southern district of New York hereinafter referred to.
