"Nearly killed my husband" by IJ -
I bought this product for my husband to take, believing it to be pure vitamin C (as on the packaging) rather than Ascorbic acid. He took one the other morning, and I heard him choking. It had got stuck in his throat. He could not breathe and nothing I did could help us to dislodge the tablet. Eventually he sort of recovered. It has taken him a whole week to recover from the damage that this tablet did to his oesophagus. He could not eat anything solid, such was the damage. This is a cheap and nasty product - it has no insert in the bottle and the bottle label tells you to take one tablet with a meal, but it shows a glass of liquid. If you put this tablet into a little water, it instantly dissolves. This means that it is an effervescent. This is what happened in his throat! It got stuck and started to dissolve. If I had not been there, he could have choked to death!! Terrible product. It should be taken off the market IMMEDIATELY. Do not buy it!! Its cheap price should have been an instant warning to me that it is an inferior product.

Starts disintegrating immediately and gets stuck in the throat. Also a lot of broken tablets in the bottle
