An excellent representation of an umbel of this remarkable plant, is given in the work above quoted of Hombron and Jacquinot; and the species is fully described in the "Botany of the Antarctic Voyage where I had promised, in the forthcoming Volume (Eighth) of the Icones Plantarum, to give a Plate of the analysis of the flower and fruit.
