More adventures with everyone's favourite time-traveller. In 'Full Circle', it soon becomes clear that all is not well when the Tardis scanner shows the Doctor (Tom Baker), Romana (Lalla Ward) and K9 an image of Gallifrey, only for them to discover an expanse of marshland when they venture outside the ship. The Doctor realizes that they have somehow travelled through a charged Vacuum Emboitment into E-Space where he meets the local Alzarians - themselves preparing to retreat to their damaged spacecraft, the Starliner, in an attempt to escape the lethal Mistfall. In 'State of Decay', when the Doctor, Romana and K9, still trapped in E-Space, land on a medieval planet, they do not realize that Adric has stowed away on the Tardis with them. They are soon in need of his help when they discover that the local society is ruled over by three vampire lords - Zargo (William Lindsay), Camilla (Rachel Davies), and Aukon (Emrys James). Finally, in 'Warrior's Gate', the Doctor may finally be on the verge of escaping E-Space when the Tardis is hijacked by Biroc (David Weston), a time-sensitive Tharil on the run from Captain Rorvik (Clifford Rose) and his crew of privateers. However, when K9 is damaged by the Time Winds, it becomes clear that he will not be able to make the return journey.

In 'Shadow', Blake becomes involved with an interplanetary crime syndicate. 'Weapon' sees Blake and crew set out to steal a deadly 'delayed-effect' gun, which Servalan also wishes to possess. In 'Horizon', the Liberator heads for the edge of the Galaxy, only to be taken prisoner on the planet Horizon. 'Pressure Point' sees Blake attempting to destroy the Federation's control centre, only to walk into a trap set by Travis. In 'Trial', Travis is made a scapegoat by Servalan for their failure to capture Blake. In 'Voice from the Past', a telepathic signal forces Blake to reroute the Liberator to an asteroid where Travis lies in wait. However, Travis has beaten him to it. Finally, 'Star One' sees Blake at last launch his attack on the Federation's headquarters, unaware that an alien fleet is poised to invade.

Hammer Film Productions drama based on the adventures of folk hero Robin Hood. Barrie Ingham stars as Robin de Courtenay, a young nobleman who is falsely accused by his cousin Sir Roger (Peter Blythe) of murdering another cousin. His accuser is in fact a cohort of the corrupt Sheriff of Nottingham (John Arnatt), who plans to seize control of the family lands that Robin stands to inherit. Forced to become an outlaw and flee into nearby Sherwood Forest, Robin gathers together a band of rebels to fight against his scheming cousin and the evil sheriff.
The longest 'Doctor Who' story ever. The Doctor (Colin Baker) is put on trial by his people the Time Lords for interference in the affairs of others; three segments of his past and future are presented as evidence. 'The Mysterious Planet' shows the Doctor and Peri (Nicola Bryant) in a battle with a megalomaniac machine on the planet Ravalox, but what are the mysterious 'secrets' it protects? 'Mindwarp' shows the Doctor apparently betraying Peri to the vile Sil (Nabil Shaban) and the Mentors - can the Matrix be falsifying the evidence against the Doctor? In his defence he presents 'Terror of the Vervoids', a future story where the Earth is threatened by evil plant life forms. In the final two episodes, 'The Ultimate Foe', the Doctor learns the truth about his prosecuting counsel, the Valeyard (Michael Jayston), and has to enter the Matrix to battle for his remaining lives. This was Colin Baker's last story as the Doctor.
