Clutching one, Mary Katherine is shrunken down to the forest floor, where, after meeting up with a group of warriors known as the Leafmen, she finds herself helping her new friends in their war to save their world from the clutches of the evil Boggans. In 'Horton Hears a Who!' (2008), a jungle elephant named Horton (Jim Carrey) discovers a race of tiny beings living in a solitary dandelion. Recognising the dangers they face, the friendly pachyderm resolves to keep his microscopic pals safe. However, as Horton is the only one who hears the inhabitants of 'Whoville', his other animal pals are convinced he's gone crazy and resolve to do something about it. Horton and his miniscule friends must struggle against these impossible odds to prevent disaster. In 'Ice Age' (2002), a group of three animals embark upon an epic journey at the dawn of the great ice age. Bobby Bowfinger (Steve Martin) is Hollywood's least successful director. He figures that the only way to boost his flagging reputation is to make a film with megastar Kit Ramsey (Eddie Murphy). However, the only way to get Kit into the movie is to film him surreptitiously, while actors approach him and say their lines. Bowfinger also stumbles upon Kit's movie buff brother Jeff (Murphy again), whom he convinces to impersonate his befuddled brother. Frank Oz directs from Steve Martin's original script.

This is aimed at teenagers and under 25s who make computer games, but often struggle to source the music for their work. It focuses on how to create simple background music, using basic software like Garageband, to more sophisticated apps such as Logic Pro., Cubase etc. There a place for Muzys as well. The book shows how to use stock libraries and samples, how to get hold of them, and use them effectively. Styles and techniques is addressed too, such as creating a simple two bar riffs to represent each character, and how to weave them into the storytelling elements of the game. The book is for non-musicians, but will help them understand music, and use it as a tool to achieve their goals.

Romantic comedy set in Greece starring Nia Vardalos, Richard Dreyfuss, Alexis Georgoulis and Alastair McGowan. After losing her university teaching post, Georgia (Vardalos) makes a change of direction and becomes a tour guide. Her high hopes of imparting her vast knowledge of Greek history and culture on eager tourists are dashed when she realises that they just aren't that interested. Feeling disenchanted and having to deal with a competitive fellow tour guide, Nico (McGowan), Georgia sets off on yet another tour with a bunch of tourists. This particular jaunt, however, turns out to be a journey of discovery for Georgia, with a little help from her tour bus driver, Poupi Kakas (Alexis Georgoulis), and one of her tourists, widower Irv Gordon (Dreyfuss).
