A set of three dramas. The comedy 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' (2011), follows the experiences of a group of elderly Brits, including Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, Tom Wilkinson and Maggie Smith, who arrive to take up residence in a newly-opened retirement home in Bangalore, India. Despite its glossy publicity campaign, the Marigold turns out to be rather different from the refurbished luxury hotel advertised in the brochures. However, it soon begins to reveal some unexpected charms of its own. In 'We Bought a Zoo' (2011), Matt Damon stars as newly widowed Benjamin, who is finding life difficult trying to raise his two young children. Urged on by his father, Duncan (Thomas Haden Church), to start over, he decides to purchase a rundown zoo in the countryside in the hope that it will bring his family together again. Having to care for 47 species, and with his friends thinking he's mad, Benjamin sets out to restore the zoo to its former glory with the help of a small but loyal staff led by Kelly Foster (Scarlett Johansson). Finally, in 'The Descendants' (2011), trustee for a large estate, Matt King (George Clooney) has had a fairly easy life to date. Living in the tropical island of Hawaii, with his financial future secure, King has grown complacent to an extent that is only brought home to him when a boating accident sends his wife, Elizabeth (Patricia Hastie), into a coma. Left in sole charge of the daughters he has largely neglected, Scottie (Amara Miller) and Alex (Shailene Woodley), Matt is called to face his responsibilities as an adult. However, when he discovers that Elizabeth had been having an affair in the months leading up to the accident, a test of his newfound emotional maturity is presented. The film won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
Three years on from the previous blockbuster, Marvel comic book character Spider-Man returns in his latest adventure. Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) and his girl Mary-Jane (Kirsten Dunst) are on the cusp of contentment - but not for long. His ex-friend Harry (James Franco), son of the Green Goblin of the first film, becomes the New Goblin in his desire for revenge against Spider-Man. Fugitive Flint Marko (Thomas Haden Church), killer of Peter's Uncle Ben, has been transformed into the shape-shifting Sandman, possibly Spider-Man's toughest foe so far. To complicate matters further, a parasitic alien symbiote has attached itself to Peter's suit, giving him even greater powers but also bringing out the evil side of his personality. He has to struggle not only against two major adversaries but also against himself.
Double bill of Disney films. In 'George of the Jungle' (1997), when a baby boy is left in the African jungle, he grows up in the company of animals to become George (Brendan Fraser), a handsome but clumsy vine-swinger. When George meets beautiful career woman Ursula (Leslie Mann), he is so smitten with her that he ends up leaving his jungle home and travelling to San Francisco with her, where the adventures really begin. In 'George of the Jungle 2' (2003), George (Chris Showerman) and Ursula (Julie Benz) have now had a son, and the family lead a happy life together in the jungle. But George's buddy Ape (voice of John Cleese) has built up a huge Las Vegas gambling debt, and George and Ursula realise they must return to the USA to help him out. However, soon after arriving on American soil, Ursula runs into her former fiance Lyle Van de Groot (Thomas Haden Church) and the old trouble starts up all over again.
Matt Damon stars in this feelgood family feature based on the memoir by Benjamin Mee. Newly widowed Benjamin (Damon) is finding life difficult trying to raise his two young children. Urged on by his father, Duncan (Thomas Haden Church), to start over, Benjamin decides to purchase a rundown zoo in the countryside in the hope that it will bring his family together again. Having to care for 47 species, and with his friends thinking he's mad, Benjamin sets out to restore the zoo to its former glory with the help of a small but loyal staff led by Kelly Foster (Scarlett Johansson).

She's joined in her quest around Seattle and beyond by old friend Charlie (Thomas Haden Church) who insists on filming their attempts at finding Matthew for a documentary, but will the pair finally be able to solve the decade long mystery?
Greg Kinnear and Kelly Reilly star in this drama directed by Randall Wallace. Based on the true story novelised by Todd Burpo (portrayed by Kinnear), the film recounts the day when his son Colton (Connor Corum) had a near-death experience. After coming round from an emergency operation to save his life, Colton begins talking about how he met his great grandfather who died 30 years before he was born and also his sister whom his mother, Sonja (Reilly) had miscarried. When his parents ask him how he knows about these people Connor explains that he met them in Heaven. As Todd and Sonja attempt to deal with the possibility that their son has actually been to Heaven, their neighbours start to question their sanity.
Professor Lawrence Wetherhold might be imperiously brilliant, but when it comes to solving the conundrums of love and family, he's as downright flummoxed as the next guy.
His teenage daughter is an acid-tongued overachiever who follows all too closely in dad's misery-loving footsteps, and his adopted, preposterously ne'er-do-well brother has perfected the art of freeloading. A widower who can't seem to find passion in anything anymore, not even the Victorian literature in which he's an expert, Lawrence seems to be sleepwalking through a very stunted middle age.
When his brother shows up unexpectedly for an extended stay just as he accidentally encounters a former student, Janet, the circumstances stir him from his deep freeze, with often comical, sometimes heartbreaking consequences for himself and everyone around him.

To prevent him from being put down Max is adopted by Kyle's family and his younger brother, Justin (Josh Wiggins), who at first seems disinterested, begins to develop a close bond with the dog. When he discovers that Tyler is involved in some dodgy dealings over stolen weapons and that his dad Ray (Thomas Haden Church) is in danger Justin, with the help of his friends Chuy (Dejon LaQuake) and Carmen (Mia Xitlali) and the faithful Max, goes on a mission to save the day.
Triple bill featuring the first three movies from the hugely popular 'Spider-Man' franchise. In 'Spider-Man' (2002) high school student Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) is bitten by a genetically-altered spider while on a visit to a scientific institute, and he soon begins to experience unusual side effects such as increased strength, enhanced wall-climbing skills and the ability to spin webs out of his wrists. Peter first attempts to make use of these skills to impress girl-next-door Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst), but after his Uncle Ben (Cliff Robertson) is killed in an armed robbery, he is compelled to work for the greater good and reinvents himself as Spider-Man, the enemy of criminals everywhere. Meanwhile, arms manufacturer Norman Osborn (Willem Dafoe) transforms himself into the Green Goblin, begins to terrorise the city, and lays down the gauntlet to Spider-Man by abducting his beloved Mary Jane. In 'Spider-Man 2' (2004) two years have passed since the events of the first film, and the mild-mannered Peter Parker faces new challenges as he struggles with trying to balance his dual identities as the web-slinging superhero Spider-Man and his life as a college student. Tormented by his secrets, Peter finds that his relationships with all those he holds dear are in danger of unravelling. His life-long yearning for Mary Jane becomes even stronger as he fights the impulse to reveal his secret life and declare his love. His friendship with Harry Osborn (James Franco) is complicated by the young Osborn's bitterness over his father's death and his growing vendetta against Spider-Man. In 'Spider-Man 3' (2007) Peter Parker and Mary Jane are on the cusp of contentment - but not for long, as Peter's former friend Harry Osborn, son of the Green Goblin, becomes the New Goblin in his desire for revenge against Spider-Man.
