This report represents the combined observations of Army personnel
assigned to Task Force 68, Operation "Highjump," Naval Antarctic
Development Project, December 1946 to April 1947. Chapters include
information regarding the Army's interest in Antarctica, engineer
operations; transportation, aircraft operation, search and rescue,
medical issues, communications (Signal Corps), Communications
(ACS), photography, meteorology, Antarctic plan for scientific
exploration, and a combined observers'; log.
This is a reproduction of a book published before 1923. This book
may have occasional imperfections such as missing or blurred pages,
poor pictures, errant marks, etc. that were either part of the
original artifact, or were introduced by the scanning process. We
