That so much of the second section of the ordinance entibj'last 'led " A further Supplement to an ordinance for the suppression (if ordinance, nuisances," &c, passed the twenty-first day of June, A. D. one thousand eight hundred and forty-nine, be so altered as to make it lawful for all persons to place their garbage, fruit, kitchen offal or any matter subject to decomposition in and about any premises, in suitable vessels, on the public footways, within twelve inches of the curb-stone, every day in the week, (except Sunday, ) in each year, to be removed therefrom at the expense of the district. Ordinance of June 4, 1850. sect. I. same as section I. Southwark ordinance of September 27, 1840, ante, page 399, except fine, 5. Ordinance of September 20,1850. So much of section I. of "A further Supplement to an 'i7 J1TM01" ordinance for the suppression of nuisances," &c, passed June twentyfirst, one thousand eight hundred and forty-nine, as reads: "nor shall any person or persons be allowed to attach any hose to any fire plug without authority, or to draw up the water along any gutter from which to throw water into the street, except between the hours of seven o'clock, P.
