Oh.., Billy (Electronic book text)

The West is rife with tales spun by novelists of the 'Dime Novel' era. Their tales were sensationalized, glamorized, and often, far from the truth.

After reading many books on William Bonny, aka, 'Billy the Kid', and researching testimonies given to reporters in 1937-38, by people who knew William Bonny, a completely different young man was found. he was loyal, handsome, dashing, happy go-lucky, romantic, fast and accurate with his six-gun--and he was held very dear in the hearts of the Hispanic people of the Southwest. He also was methodical, quick-tempered, played casino, twenty-one, and he killed, but not before being provoked, or the need to kill had arisen.

His association with a Catholic Nun in Trinidad, Colorado may have had an impact on his life and his lovethe beautiful Josefita, of Lincoln County, New Mexico.

This novel will take you back to the 1870 - 80s. You will smell the cordite from the gunfights, live inside his mind, with is loves, his passions, his pain, and his quest for just staying alive.
