Length 5 inches. A single example. It agrees with Bleeker's figure,50 except that there is a brown band from along base of upper caudal lobe down across middle of lower lobe toward its distal portion which is also more or less brownish. The ventrals are almost all whitish, without the large dark blotch Bleeker shows, though the anal is dusky basally. The black on the pectoral and ventral is also more deep than Bleeker indicates.
