Peter Fox (born 5 July 1957, in Scunthorpe) is an English former footballer, who recently worked as a goalkeeper coach at Blackpool.Fox played as a goalkeeper, and began his career with Sheffield Wednesday, making his debut aged just 15 years 8 months, a club record. He stayed at Wednesday until 1978, playing 49 league games, plus one appearance on loan at Barnsley and a summer in the NASL with Team Hawaii, before moving to Stoke City, the club with which he is most associated. He played over 400 league games for the club, over a spell of 15 years, and won the Second Division title and the Football League Trophy.
