The present State of the World and the Church described in the Prophecies. BEFORE I proceed to future events, it may not be improper to state the view given in the prophecies of this period in which we live. Such a view is necessary to trace the progress of vents, events, by hewing the links which, in the chain of Providence, connect the present with future times.
