Although this book only has 160 pages, it is jam-packed with excellent information and high quality photographs. Gardening in coastal areas is a challenge which this book addresses by the provision of plant lists depending on proximity to the ocean, wind and soil. It also includes a month-by-month feature providing information on jobs to be done, tips and planting schedules by height and colour of recommended plants. If you know of any keen gardeners or someone who has just purchased a coastal holiday home, this should be on the top of your gift list!
