At the time of purchase - about a year ago - Ryzen was hard to find and/or very expensive, and Intel was absolutely not worth it. I therefore pointed for this processor and I am far from disappointed. The first system bottleneck is my budget Sapphire RX 550 2GB, and then my 8 GB of RAM which is heavily used by the videogames I play. However, this X4 870K hardly ever reaches 80%, therefore ir was a decent value buy at the time. However, I do not reccomend this at all today - get a Ryzen 3 2200G instead for a few hundred bucks extra with a HUGE performance improvement.
