A set of three short stories that have a similar theme to hold them together. A Touch of Faith Luc has a skateboarding competition over the weekend. His sister planned to go with him, but bailed on him the day before they would leave. Due to his sister backing out, Luc convinces his best friend, Isabel, to come and support him. He tells her about how he admires her friendship and thinks of her as a good luck charm. He explains to her that it is because she visited him when he was in the hospital years ago. He felt it stood out that she would come and stay all day with him when his sister wouldn't even come at all. He thought of her as his good luck charm because he got better that time in the hospital. So, he wants her to come to his competition and support him. They strengthen their friendship and he teaches her to have a touch of faith. Medieval Fire Through an accident when mountain climbing with her brother, Alex suddenly finds herself in her favorite century. While there she learns much more about the medieval times than any of her books could convey. When she arouses from her fall, she meets this gentleman named Erik, who tells her about his land and cultures. She greatly enjoys her time there and becoming friends with Erik, but after some time feels she needs to figure out a way back to her own time. It feels like she has been gone for a long time, and she is afraid her brother is going to start to really worry about her. Racing Hope Kae loves racing; she is a roadie for her uncle, who is one of the racers. Her dream is to be a racer someday; however, her father is very against it. At the race, she meets Kris, a fellow roadie and race fan. Which becomes the first time he is there to rescue her, when she ignores her allergy symptoms to continue to watch her uncle race. The second time, Kris is there for her, is when she becomes angry at her father. She goes to a race theme park, but goes too fast on a curve and everything goes out of control. Kris is very sweet on her, supports her dream and is there for her in her times of need.
