Seven Turns of the Key (Paperback)

The title Sette Giri Della Chiave would have been just as appropriate in Italian as its English translation, Seven Turns of the Key. The term is derived from the finality of imprisonment, not necessarily in a physical structure but in oneas own mind, heart and soul. A long-planned and much-needed vacation to Italyas Amalfi Coast results in an adventurous hunt for the truth. A chance meeting with a stranger in a remote parking lot somewhere outside of Sorrento, is the beginning of the authoras search for the reasons of his familyas exodus from Sicily to America. It is a search filled with surprising consequences. Murder, mystery, intrigue, deceit and adultery become an integral part of the hunt. Seven Turns of the Key is more then the story of Angelo Saverinoas journey, it is also a lesson in Sicilian and Italian traditions, history, geography and the Sicilian language.
