"In the middle of the Pavement of the Chancel is a very large Grey Marble, at the Corners of wli were Arms, 3 of which are torn off: the only one that remains has this Coat, viz., a Fess Crenelle, for Olney, Round the Verge of the Stone is a Brass, at each Corner the Symbols of the 4 Evangelists; and on the Brass is this Inscription."
