From Our Heart to God's Ears (Paperback)

Betty Lee Williams-Anderson was born Yonkers, New York to Jessie Mae Williams, and the late James (Tucker) Williams, Sr. Betty Lee is the retired Secretary of the YMCA and Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, until her illness. Betty Lee is the single mother of three sons, Jeffrey, Corvers, and John Anderson, (Renee) daughter-in-law. Four grand children Danielle, Khadeem, Lendale and Zethakia, and one brother James Williams, Jr., as well as one nephew James Williams III. She joined the Mount Carmel Baptist Church at an early age. She was a teacher for Vacation Bible School ages 3-5 years old, Sunday school substitute and teacher and coordinator of The Pee Wee Department. Betty Lee was the coordinator in two Tom Thumb Weddings; she served as a member of the Usher Board, First secretary of the Youth Department and was on the Welcome Committee at the Church. I was inspired by family to write the poetry before I had the Frontal Craniotomy for Sub Dural Hemorrhage (Operation on my Brain) in July 2004 and I also suffered a Stroke in January 2007. I pray all of you that read the words of my poems will heed and listen to the words I have to say "From Our Heart To God's Ears." Thanks to all of you who inspired me to write my poems on paper and recite them out loud. "God Order My Steps," so that I can be blessed, and you can too.
