In response to customer demand, Cambridge is publishing a new binding of the NIV Pocket Cross-Reference Bible with a zip fastener. About the same size as a Filofax, this edition is often chosen for its 'portability', and the zip fastening will protect the Bible when it is out and about. The Bible is printed on lightweight Bible paper and bound in black bonded leather, one of our best-selling binding materials. Although it is so compact, it has a comprehensive range of reference material: over 50,000 cross-references, translators' notes and a 'conversion guide' for weights and measures (with metric and imperial equivalents). At the back are 11 colour maps showing the world of the Bible at different times. This would be ideal for the busy person who likes to carry a Bible with them at all times.
