The exposition--a product of the chemist and by chemists, will be opened by chemisft--Dr. Charles H. Herty, president of the American Chemical Society and chairman of the Expositi6n Advisory Committee, will make the opening address. Mr. Francis A. J. Fitzgerald, president of the American Electrochemical Society, and Arthur B. Daniels, president of American Paper and Pulp Association, will also make addresses, after which the assembled guests will visit the exhibits. The American Chemical Society whose annual meeting is being held during the week and in conjunction with the exposition, have arranged for conference meetings that will take the nature of symposiums--they will be industrial in nature and be engaged in by captains of industry--leaders in the field of the industry under discussion. Other meetings of the society will be held at Columbia University, at the College of the City of New York and the Chemists' Club. The Chemists' Club, who will also have a headquarters at the exposition, have offered the lobby of the club house for the registration of the members of the society.
