In comparison, however, Avith the change in the population, Norfolk stands the lowest, since with an increase of 25 per cent, in the number of divorces, Dukes and Nantucket have suffered a decrease in their population of;(0-7 per cent, and the same ratio in the number of marriages. In Barnstable County, also, there has been an increase in the number of divorces, with a decrease in the number of marriages and in the population. In Norfolk there has been a decrease in the number of marriages of 69 per cent. The highest rate of increase in the population appears in Suffolk, and the lowest in Norfolk.
