CJay - Atmospheres (CD)

CJay kicked of his career in 1994 as a South African producer and Hip-Hop artist and rapper, whose songs Jesus Freak and Turn The World Upside Down garnered him a Crown Gospel Music Award for best Hip-Hop album for Jesus Freak Yes I Am, in 2013. Inspired by his musical uncle, Hip-Hop and rap always came naturally and effortlessly to C J A Y, and he recorded 5 albums within those genres over the years.

This modern form of poetry, with deep and profound meaning, accompanied by his servant heart and unashamed love for Jesus, gained him many fans and friends in the music industry. CJay has performed alongside Grammy Award-winning artist Lecrae, as well as Grammy nominated artists Kari Jobe , Da' T.R.U.T.H. , Neville D and Delirious?

2017 marks a major turning point in CJay's music career, after surrendering to a word spoken over his life that God did not just call him to rap, but to sing too. Atmospheres is CJay's first worship album and it’s the fruit of that desire and hunger for Gods people to experience Him. Inspired by current worship artists’ Elevation Worship, Bethel Music, Hillsong United and Da Truth, this-10 track album features many wonderful local voices such as Janine Price. Fall Afresh is the lead single, a worship song of many layers, with moments of chill and beautiful sonic curves.
