The cartridge contains the company’s proprietary hollow fibre membrane filter which removes fine particles up to 0.1micrometres including bacteria, cryptosporidium, algae, rust and other microorganisms leaving you with clean and great-tasting water every time. The cartridge only needs to be replaced after 12 months of use (2200 litres) and can be recycled with other plastics.
The jug features a wave design for enhanced durability and is the largest capacity jug in the Cleansui range, making it ideal for providing water for a couple or an entire family. It holds 1.3 litres of filtered water or 2.3 litre total capacity. The modern red and white lid doubles as a manually adjustable calender dial, making it easy to remember when it's time to replace the filter bag.

A nice size jug that gets the job done. While it's not as sophisticated as some of the others in the range with electronic counters to count down to when the filter needs to be changed, it's fine to use if you can keep track of your general daily usage. The jug is a bit bulky, but is still designed to fit nicely in a refrigerator door. It comes with a limescale filter but be aware that the filter bags for the limescale filter can be difficult to get ahold of. Luckily the other filters this brand offers are interchangeable, so if you can't find stock of one, you can buy another and it will fit. Using this is a nice safeguard and filters municipal water quite quickly. Would recommend.
