'The Perverse Library' includes Craig Dworkin's bibliography, a supplementary bibliography of absent and imagined books and an accompanying essay arguing that libraries are in fact defined not by what they contain, but by what books they exclude or fail to include.Published to accompany the exhibition The Perverse Library at Shandy Hall, Coxwold, North Yorkshire, 4 September - 31 October 2010, curated by Simon Morris. It was the first of its kind in the UK, showing works by a generation of artists who have sought a radical reconsideration of the relationship between literature and the visual arts.
