Episodes 1 - 4

• The One After "I Do"
  Monica and Chandler's wedding reception is almost upstaged by the news that someone may be pregnant. Phoebe suspects it's Rachel and comes up with a plan to cover for her friend.
• The One With The Red Sweater
  Monica and Phoebe speculate about who might be the father of Rachel's baby. Mistakenly thinking Phoebe is the one who's pregnant, Joey makes a gallant gesture.
• The One Where Rachel Tells Ross
  Everybody seems to know who the father of Rachel's baby is, except the guy himself: Ross. Phoebe and Joey fib about a gas leak to gain entry to Monica and Chandler's apartment.
• The One With The Videotape
  Ross and Rachel's attempt to explain how they wound up getting pregnant turns into an argument over who came on to whom - until Ross makes the shocking announcement that he has the encounter on videotape.

Episodes 5 - 8

• The One With Rachel's Date
  Ross is horrified to learn that the pregnant Rachel is headed out on a date with a handsome actor, while Phoebe protests when Monica wants to fire a cute but clumsy sous-chef whom she fancies.
• The One With The Halloween Party
  At Monica's Halloween party, Phoebe meets her twin sister Ursula's fiance and finds herself attracted to him as well.
• The One With The Stain
  Ross learns Rachel wants to move out and find her own place... and suggests a vacancy in his building. But Joey gives Ross tough competition when he puts a nursery in their apartment to make her stay.
• The One With The Stripper
  Feeling guilty for denying Chandler a real bachelor party, Monica arranges for a stripper to perform for him, but Chandler's in for a big surprise.

Episodes 9 - 12

• The One With Rumour
  Monica (Courteney Cox Arquette) bumps into an old high school friend and invites him to thanksgiving dinner with the gang - unaware that he's not exactly a fan of Rachel (Jennifer Aniston). Meanwhile, Chandler (Matthew Perry) and Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) pretend to be enthralled with a televised football game so that they can avoid helping Monica in the kitchen while Joey (Matt LeBlanc) vows to polish off the turkey single-handedly.
• The One With Monica's Boots
  Chandler is annoyed when Monica spends a fortune on a luscious pair of black boots. Meanwhile, when Phoebe learns that Ross's (David Schwimmer) and rock star Sting's sons attend the same school, she angles to meet the celebrity and get concert tickets - but is caught by his suspicious wife, Trudie Styler (as herself). In addition, Rachel tries to mediate between an angry Joey and his pregnant kid sister.
• The One With Ross's Step Forward
  Ross becomes nervous when his new girlfriend, Mona (recurring guest star Bonnie Somerville), wants to mail cute Christmas cards with both of their pictures on it. When Rachel starts feeling the hormonal effects of her pregnancy, she desperately searches for possible romantic partners- including the ever accommodating Joey.
• The One Where Joey Dates Rachel
  In order to prepare Joey for a big date, Rachel agrees to go out with him for a night on the town. However, things take an unexpected turn when their date is a success and they begin to regard each other in a way no one could have predicted. Meanwhile, Chandler racks up a record number of points on Monica's new Mrs. Pac-Man game machine and Ross is finally allowed to teach an honours class.

Episodes 13 - 16

• The One Where Chandler Takes A Bath
  Joey (Matt LeBlanc) is driving himself crazy with guilt over his secret affection for Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), but things become even more complicated when Monica (Courtney Cox Arquette) mistakenly thinks he's infatuated with Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) and tells her so! Meanwhile, Rachel breaks her promise with Ross (David Schwimmer) not to learn the sex of their unborn child and takes a look at the doctor's folder. Elsewhere, Monica regrets urging a reluctant Chandler (Matthew Perry) to enjoy the pleasures of a soothing bubble bath... when she can't get him out!
• The One With The Secret Closet
  Joey realises that his feelings for Rachel are excluding Ross from the joys of impending fatherhood and makes a gallant, if reluctant, suggestion that could change all of their lives. Elsewhere, Chandler is obsessed with finding out what's behind the locked door of Monica's forbidden secret closet while Phoebe convinces Monica to submit to her massage - then regrets it when hew new found client responds in ecstasy with suggestive grunts and groans.
• The One With The Birthing Video
  A playful Monica goes all out for Valentines Day with sexy lingerie and X-rated entertainment, however Chandler is too shell shocked to respond after he accidentally views a birthing video meant for Rachel!. Meanwhile Ross has difficulty breaking the news to Mona that Rachel has moved in with him. Elsewhere Phoebe tries to cheer up a depressed Joey by bringing the world most cheerful dog.
• The One Where Joey Tells Rachel
  A guilt-ridden Joey tells a speechless Ross about his true feelings for Rachel. The guys agree that Joey should tell Rachel during dinner, regardless of the potential consequences. Meanwhile Chandler becomes nervous because Phoebe's handsome new boyfriend, Don (Harry van Gorkum), shares a number of personality traits with Monica.

Episodes 17 - 20

• The One With Tea Leaves
  When a crestfallen Joey (Matt LeBlanc) avoids Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), she hopes to break the ice and restore their former relationship by conjuring a big lie about her unborn child. Elsewhere, Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) uses tea leaves and believes she will encounter the man of her dreams while Ross (David Schwimmer) gets stuck when he seeks to recover his favourite pink shirt from the apartment of his former girlfriend.
• The One In Massapequa
  A tongue-tied Monica (Courteney Cox Arquette) regrets her request to supplant Ross as the designated toast-giver at their parent's 35th wedding anniversary. While Phoebe's latest boyfriend (guest star Alec Baldwin) drives everyone at the party crazy with his upbeat optimism. Ross and Rachel are horrified when Mr and Mrs Geller ask them to pretend that they are married for appearance's sake.
• The One With Joey's Interview
  Joey is thrilled when his name is used in a Soap Opera Digest crossword puzzle. However, he is reluctant to let the magazine do a profile of him, because his last interview got him into so much trouble that he was written out of the show. However, eager to see her own name in print, Rachel persuades him to reconsider but Joey insists that all of his friends be present at the interview to ensure that he doesn't say anything controversial this time.
• The One With The Baby Shower
  Rachel panics that she is not prepared to care for a new born baby and reluctantly goes along with her icy mother's plans to move in and help out - which hardly makes roommate Ross jump for joy. Meanwhile, whilst Monica tries to make up for forgetting to invite Rachel's mother to the baby shower, an exhausted Chandler (Mathew Perry) and Ross help Joey prepare for his audition as a new game host.

Episodes 21 - 23

• The One With The Cooking Class
  When Monica's (Courtney Cox Arquette) restaurant is badly reviewed by a newspaper food critic, she drags Joey (Matt LeBlanc) along to a food-criticism class taught by the same man in the hope of changing his mind. Meanwhile Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) is put out when a cute sales girl flirts with Ross (David Schwimmer) when they go shopping for baby gear and a psyched out Chandler (Mathew Perry) gets some questionable coaching from Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) before a big job interview.
• The One Where Rachel Is Late
  An overdue Rachel is ready to try anything to get the baby moving, however Monica and Phoebe are distracted by their wager over the date of the birth. Meanwhile, Joey is less than pleased when Chandler, his chosen guest for the premiere of his new World War I movie, nods off during the screening.
• The One Where Rachel Has A Baby (Parts 1 & 2)
  In the one-hour session finale, Rachel's baby nears delivery with an anxious Ross hovering nearby. However, whilst numerous other pregnant women are wheeled in and out, Rachel is caught in endless labour hell - and her waiting friends are causing havoc in the hospital. Whilst Chandler and Monica, inspired by the experience, search for a private room in a quest to have their own baby, Joey enacts his Dr. Drake Ramoray soap character in order to screen a handsome patient that Phoebe has met.
