From Frumpy Fat to Fabulous (Paperback)

This is the factual and humorous account of how I accomplished my forty-pound weight loss. From July 1996 to May 1997, I went from a size fourteen to my present size six. So very many people were impressed with the "new me" and wanted to know how they too could lose weight. Since I could not explain it in a short conversation, I wrote this book. The unique aspect is that I did not use any of the following: diet pills, shakes, diet workshops, support groups, a fitness center/gym, aerobic classes, etc. I did it all on my own. I didn't and still don't want to be dependent on someone or something. I don't want yo-yo dieting results. I do not condemn or criticize anyone who needs those helpers. For me it was just better to rely on myself. I have kept this weight off the last seven years. My methods have stood the test of time.
