There are no good points about this light kit. There are many issues though. I started to commute home with my bike which was my initial reason to get it. The front light stopped working in the first week of using it. This was just road use, no offroad at all. This was my biggest issue as it proved to be dangerous. It would stay on for less than a minute then switch off. Another problem I noticed is that it doesnt seem to be rain or splash proof, as indicated on the box, as I could see obvious holes along the edges where water could seep in. The rear light doesnt stay at the angle you set when tightened. So its either pointing way downwards or way upwards, but not more or less horizontal which is how I wanted it. This is because the screws seem to be have preset segments which click in when tightened. It seems to be more sealed than the front light though in terms of water ingress. I returned the kit over a month already and I havent heard back from Loot yet regarding the outcome. A total waste of time and money, and a big loss in confidence in the Loot and Energizer brands.
Don't buy it!!! Mine worked for a week, now the @#$R% thing switches off all the time, especially when hitting the slightest uneven tar on my commute to work. (I have removed the batteries for 10 seconds as per instructions.) It has been a total waste of money as now I need to buy a new light. It certainly won't be an Energizer. Quite dangerous too when it switches off at an inopportune time. I switch it on and then it goes off again. A product that does not function as it is supposed to is a con. STAY FAR AWAY.
