Spinning Wheels (Paperback)

'Spinning Wheels' opens in the early nineteen sixties, at an isolated Roman Catholic Convent. As the story gently unfolds the main characters start to question not only the foundations of their own Faith, but also the arrogant tribal marking and awesome power of organised religion. Alternative ideas about life and death, good and evil, order and chaos, are therefore gradually presented. Devout Christians, and Roman Catholics in particular, will find this book to be a very challenging read. The debilitating effects of loneliness are sympathetically portrayed, and at appropriate points, arguments against committing suicide are also presented. Underneath it all however, 'Spinning Wheels' is an honest, decent, if rather robust, love story. Kirkus reviews: - An engaging tale. The story is strong and the erotica is nicely balanced by the humanity of the characters
