Daddy's Little Girls (DVD)

True love conquers all in this comedy drama about a cash-strapped dad trying to keep his family together. Desperate to win a custody battle for his three young daughters against his hard-bitten ex-wife Jennifer (Tasha Smith), down-on-his-luck mechanic Monty (Idris Elba) employs stylish city lawyer Julia (Gabrielle Union) to help win the day. As they struggle to surmount the obstacles threatening to tear Monty's family apart, the diametrically opposed pair quickly come to realise that although they come from wildly differing backgrounds, opposites do attract, and that in the long run love is the lowest common denominator.
