The Deutsches Literatur-Lexikon. Das 20. Jahrhundert lists authors who write in the German language and who were mainly active in the 20th century. Volume 11 includes articles on Robert Gernhardt, Stefan George, Friedrich Glauser, Claire and Yvan Goll, and Eugen Gomringer. Also worth of note are the articles on exiled authors Alfred Gong and Hermann Grab. In line with the encyclopaedia's orientation, information is also included on numerous specialists in their field, e.g. indologist Helmuth von Glasenapp and cultural historian Eberhard Gothein.
