Health of the Nation, 1st. Survey Report - Smoking in Public Places (Paperback)


The Government's aim is that 80% of public places should be covered by effective smoking policies by 1994. In December 1992 the Department of the Environment commissioned NOP to conduct market research to sound out public opinion on smoking in public places; to find out what percentage of public places were operating smoking policies; and to discover how effective the 1991 Code of Practice has been and whether there is scope for targeting the Government campaign more precisely. The results of this survey are published in this report.
