Whereas an Act was passed in the Session . l" of Parliament holden in the fifth and sixth J"18 V cfc years of the reign of His late Majesty King William the Fourth, intituled "An Act to3&6Wm.IV. consolidate and amend the several Laws re-c" 59, lating to the cruel and improper Treatment of Animals, and the Mischief's arising from the driving of Cattle, and to make other Provisions in regard thereto: " and whereas another Act was passed in the first year of the reign of Our Sovereign Lady Queen Victoria, intituled "An Act to extend to Ireland the Act of the fifth and sixth years 7 Wm. IV., of His late Majesty's reign, consolidating ""J?.1 "ct and amending: the Laws relating to the cruel and improper Treatment of Animals: " and whereas it is expedient to repeal the provi-sions of the said recited Acts, and to make other and more effectual provisions for pro-moting the objects and purposes of the said Acts: Be it therefore enacted, by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, That from and after the passing Recited Ads of this Act, the said recited Acts (excepting so repealed, save far as they, or either of them, repeal any as t0 Offences other Act or part of any other Act) be and before passing the same are hereby repealed, save as to any of this Act. offences committed against the provisions of the said recited Acts, or either of them, before the passing of this Act, which offences shall and may be dealt with, and the offenders 12 & 13 Vict. c. 92. . 2.
