Growth and Yield of T. Aman Rice Varieties (Paperback)

,
USG performed well in growth and gave higher grain yield (12.2%) over PU. Significantly higher rice grain yields were given by transplanting one seedling of BRRI Dhan44 (5.38 t/ha), application of USG in BRRI Dhan44 (5.08 t/ ha) and transplanting one seedling per hill with application USG (4.18 t /ha) and finally placement of USG by transplanting one seedling hill-1 of BRRI Dhan44 (5.77 t/ha). The higher grain yield was attributed mainly to the number of effective tillers per hill, filled grains per panicle and 1000-grain weight.
