J. J. SCHUTZ. O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good; for his mercy endureth forever. Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among his people. God is great, therefore will he be sought; he is good, therefore will he be found. ? /. Mason. Seek the Lord, and his strength; seek his face evermore. He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth. This is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel, saith the Lord: I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their ins and their iniquities will I remember no more. Having these promises, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of the Lord. Morning.
