Texas-based musician Jandek is a shadowy figure who has unleashed an enormous amount of music on the world. His music crosses boundaries between folk, country, and blues, and his public image has been carefully cultivated to ensure that Jandek himself remains a mysterious, anonymous figure. But 2004 saw Jandek step out of the shadows to play some shows, and the un-publicized excursion included here sees him performing with a two-piece back-up band.
