I Believe in Angels - A Collection of Children's Shortstories (Paperback)

I believe in Angels is a collection of short of short stories for children about guardian angels. The first story in the book, "Angel in the Mist" is a true story which happened to the author while camping near Townsend, Tennessee in the Great Smokey Mountains, Her guardian angel, seen and heard, saved her from drowning. This experience made a skeptical Christian believe that angels really do exist, as many passages in the Bible tell about. With the devastating events centered around 9-11, the war in Afghanistan and Iraq, many children list one or more loved ones. The psychological effect on these children has been nearly unbearable. These children need to know that even though, they can't see or hear angels; they do exist and they are watching over them. Angels can even change events to protect them. As in the case of the author a change of address may have and probably did save her life. If she and her husband had not decided to raise their children in East Tennessee rather than Arlington, Virginia, this author would have been in the pentagon when the plane crashed into it on 9-11. She definitely believes in angels
