This worthy Primate we mnst ndt omit mentioning, always evidenced a ery landable anxiety for the spiritnal improvement of his own Honsehold, lie was folly aware that he had a most important dnty to discharge toward them. He accordingly assembled his family to engage with him in devotional exercises at six every morning, at eight every evening, hefore dinner also, and hefore snpper. He moreover delivered, every Friday evening, a regnlar lectnre for their fnller instrnction m the divine principles of the Gospel, in his private chapel; and on the evening of Snnday, he obliged bit Chaplains to expatiate on the principal featnres of the Sermon, which he himself preached in the morning, i...
